A very cold and windy day! Despite taking two early wickets the Halverstown bowling left a bit to be desired as Civil Service put on 96 for the third wicket. Some tighter bowling in the later stages of the innings kept the total to a reasonable target. In reply the loss of early wickets made things difficult and despite dogged resistance from Hubert and some good hitting from Monty, Civil Service were comfortable winners.
